RedZone Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is an agreement between you and Zone Technologies Inc. (“RedZone”, and collectively with its affiliates, parents, subsidiaries and each of their respective trustees, directors, officers, shareholders, members, employees, advisors, representatives, subcontractors, consultants, attorneys, agents, suppliers, distributors, licensees and/or licensors or anyone acting on their behalf, “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is governed by and incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use available at http://redzonemap.com/terms-of-use, and should be interpreted consistent therewith.

RedZone provides the Website at http://www.redzonemap.com and the Application known as “RedZone Map” (collectively, the “App”) to you subject to the following Policy, which you acknowledge, agree to and consent to by clicking “I Agree” below or by using the App.

This Privacy Policy may be amended by Us from time to time.  Please periodically review the controlling version of the Policy.  By clicking “I Agree” below or by continuing to use the App subsequent to Us making available an amended version of the Policy, you thereby acknowledge, agree and consent to such amendment. This Privacy Policy applies solely to Our on-line information gathering and disclosure practices in connection with the App, and does not apply to any of Our practices conducted off-line.


If you do not wish to provide your consent and/or do not agree with any part of this Policy and/or Our Terms of Use, please do not use the App.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old and not a person barred from receiving services under the laws of the United States or other applicable jurisdictions.

1- California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may be entitled to yearly notice about certain information provided in the previous calendar year to third parties for use by those third parties in marketing products and services to you. We reserve the right to not respond to requests submitted other than to the email or mailing addresses specified in this section

2- Information We Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information (“PII”) about you unless you voluntarily submit such information to Us. “Personally identifiable information” includes individually identifiable information about an individual consumer collected online by Us from the individual, including any of the following: (1) a first and last name; (2) a physical address, including without limitation a street name and name of a city or town; (3) an e-mail address; (4) a telephone or fax number; or (5) any other identifier that permits the physical or online contacting of a specific individual. The types of PII We may request include your name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number. We may store your personally identifiable information alongside non-personally identifiable information about you.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are under 13, please do not submit personally identifiable information to Us or use the App.

We may collect non-personally identifiable information about you in a number of ways, including tracking your Internet activities through your IP address, computer or cellular/mobile phone settings or most-recently visited URL. We may also ask you to directly provide certain non-personally identifiable information about yourself, such as your route or driving preferences.

If you report a problem with Our App, there may be additional details requested. Also, if you contact Us, We may keep a record of those communications. Should you sign up to an account using other social media platforms, We may also obtain your user name and password details along with other information sent out by the related login page.

When you use the App, We might insert some instructions on your computer or cellular/mobile device. These instructions will be in the form of a “cookie” or similar file. Cookies are small pieces of instruction stored on your hard drive or device, not on Our App. Cookies provide Us with information that We use to enhance your experience on the App. Right now, there are two basic types of cookies. One is a session cookie which terminates when the user’s session ends. The second is a persistent cookie, which is a text file that stays stored on your computer for a period of time. Your Internet browser contains instructions about how to remove persistent cookies. If you reject all cookies, you may not be able to create or sign in to your account with Us or otherwise take full advantage of Our App.

We use cookies to collect information, on an aggregate basis, about how the App is used. This information may include the date and time of visits to and time spent on the App. We also use cookies to learn more about Our audience size and usage patterns, to store information about your preferences so as to allow Us to customize Our App according to your interests and provide a more personalized experience, to speed up searches or to recognize you when you return to Our App, to identify the pages viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits, page interaction information (such as click, scrolling, etc.) or methods used to browse away from a page, but none of Our cookies is intended to identify you personally. We may also use web beacons. A web beacon is an invisible graphic on a web page or email that is programmed to collect non-personally identifiable information about the use of a given website or newsletter, such as whether or not an email is opened and viewed.

3- “Do Not Track”

Some browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell those websites you do not want to have your online activities tracked. At this time, we do not respond to browser “do not track” signals.

4- How We Use Your Information

Among the uses We may make of the data We have from and about you, We may:

a. Enforce Our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy;

b. Notify you about any changes in Our App or other products or services;

c. Fulfill Our legal obligations to you;

d: Fulfill Our legal obligations and respond to any litigation or law enforcement/government inquiry;

e. Insure that Our App, products and services are presented to you in the most efficient manner for you and Us;

f. Provide you with information, products and services as you request them or which We feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes;

g. Allow you to participate in any interactive features of Our App, when you choose to do so;

h. Use any data to provide you with information about products and services We think may be of interest to you or which you have consented to receive;

i. Administer Our App and keep it safe and secure, and for internal operations, including research, statistics, troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, survey and similar purposes

j. Share with third party service providers, including credit card processors, auditors and other service providers; or

k. Disclose as We believe to be necessary or appropriate: (a) under applicable law, including laws outside your country of residence; (b) to protect Our operations or those of any of Our affiliated parties; (c) to protect Our rights, privacy, safety or property, or that you or others; or (d) to allow Us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that We may sustain.

By using the App, you consent to Us providing your information to third parties that assist Us in the operation and delivery of Our App, products and services. We will take reasonable steps to require any such third parties to comply with the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Your information will remain subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy even if We undergo a business transition. However, We may transfer your information to a successor person or entity upon an acquisition or other corporate reorganization. You hereby consent to such transfers, and We may assign and transfer all of the rights, benefits, duties, and obligations of this Privacy Policy.

If you do not want Us to share or disclose your information as stated herein, please do not use the App or submit personally identifiable information.

We typically use your information to deliver products to you and to improve the design and performance of the App. We may use your information to deliver to you, among other things, communications, emails, newsletters and marketing materials from Us and third parties. Your information may also be used to contact you when necessary.

Except as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy, We will not provide access to your PII to third parties for any purpose.

5- Security and Storage

We primarily store your information in the United States. Some information may be stored elsewhere. You authorize Us to do so. The PII and other data We collect about you and your use of Our App may be maintained in servers We control and maintain or in third party servers. The information you provide may be transferred or accessed by entities in many different countries as described elsewhere in this Policy. By submitting your information, you agree to the transfer, storage and processing of your data in accord with this Policy.

The PII you provide to Us is stored on servers that are located in secured facilities with restricted access, and protected by protocols and procedures designed to ensure reasonable security of such information. In addition, We restrict access to user PII to those of Our employees, independent contractors and agents who need to know this information in order to develop, operate and maintain the App. However, no data transmission over the Internet is completely secure nor can any be guaranteed to be totally secure, and, for this reason, We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to Us. You can help protect your PII by using a combination of letters, numbers and characters in your password, changing your password often, using a secure web browser, and signing off and closing your App when you are finished with the its use.

We take commercially reasonable steps to safeguard and deter unauthorized access to your information. When We collect or transmit sensitive information such as a credit or debit card number, We use industry standard methods to protect that information. Although We take reasonable measures to safeguard against unauthorized disclosures of your information, no e-commerce platform, application, website, electronic database or other format or system is completely secure.

6- Third Party Websites

The App contains links to other applications and/or websites. Other applications and websites We link to include “social media” sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such third party services. When you submit information or data to third parties, their privacy policies, not Ours, will govern their use of your information and data. You should review the privacy policies and terms of service of all such third parties. We do not make any representations regarding the policies or practices of such third parties.

7- Accessing or Updating Your Information

We allow you to access and change or modify your information as previously provided. You may do so by contacting Us at (954)242-3733. To protect your privacy and security, We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making changes or modifications. Unfortunately, We cannot always ensure that such changes or modifications will be reflected in all iterations of your information as previously stored.

Please remember that any information you disclose on public portions of the App, such as “comments” forums, may become widespread. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personally identifiable information.

8- Laws in Other Countries

We comply with the United States privacy laws and regulations. We do not represent that the App is governed by, or operated in accordance with, the laws of other nations or jurisdictions, or that the App or any portion of it is appropriate or available for use in any particular location. If you choose to access the App, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with all local laws, rules and regulations. By using the App, visitors to the App from outside the United States acknowledge and agree that Our Site is subject to United States laws and regulations, and waive any claims against Us that may arise under their own national laws.
